We do not store details on used bandwidth, traffic logs, IP addresses, or browsing data. The encryption of internet data commences the moment a user connects to one of our VPN servers.

ADDITIONAL PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED WHEN PROVIDING OUR VPN SERVICES

Beyond what is stated in the Privacy Policy, we process the following data when you utilize our VPN Services:

    Technical information:

  • Statistical server load information to monitor server performance (CPU, RAM, server net usage), enabling us to recommend the most suitable servers to our users.
  • Username and a timestamp of the last session status to manage the number of concurrent active user sessions. This information is automatically deleted 15 minutes after a session ends.
  • Connectivity information to prevent abuse and dispute unfair chargebacks, noting whether the service was used within the last 30 days without collecting personally identifiable information.
  • Interaction data employing advanced tools to detect irregular patterns in user activity upon new session initiation to safeguard against abuse, without collecting personally identifiable information aside from detected irregular patterns.

  • Information collected on SafeConnect Website

  • Social media platforms and widgets may be included on our website, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn like/share buttons, facilitating easier content sharing. These features might collect your IP address and track page visits, possibly setting cookies to function correctly.
  • Information collected on our applications

  • In-app event information is collected anonymously, related to device-specific activity, helping us understand if the application functions as intended and how users interact with it. This includes general event information, device details (OS, model, brand, unique identifier, location data), application specifics (name, version, features, connection status), and account information (subscription details). Users can opt-out of this data collection anytime through the app settings.

THREAT PROTECTION FEATURE:

Our Threat Protection feature, when enabled, blocks ads, trackers, malicious websites, and malware, processing data necessary for service provision and improvement.

  • URL scanning matches URLs against known threats, blocking harmful content without linking data to specific users.
  • Initial file scanning checks downloaded files for malware, collecting data on scan status and source URLs to block access to malicious sites.
  • Vulnerable app detection informs users about potentially exploitable applications without collecting personal data, based on anonymous service quality data.

OTHER SERVICES/FEATURES BY SafeConnect:

  • Meshnet allows for point-to-point connections, routing online traffic through selected devices, processing connection details, device OS, and user email.
  • Dedicated IP service assigns a unique IP address to users for their subscription period, linking the user's email and account information to this IP.
  • Smart DNS replaces your ISP's DNS address to circumvent geo-restrictions without changing your IP address, requiring storage of your IP address on our systems.
  • Dark Web Monitor scans for personal data breaches involving your email, sharing hashed email addresses with a third-party service provider solely for this purpose, with results deleted upon feature deactivation.
